Who we
are: Home and School is an organization that facilitates communication and cooperation between the homes of our school children and the teachers and administration of SKD. This is done through Home and School meetings, newsletters, and various social events held throughout the school year. We also host several fund raising events to raise money for our school to make it a more prosperous place for our children to learn. We would like you to know that we are here for you. We promise to listen to your questions, concerns, and feedback. Feel free to contact any of the Home and School Officers by phone or email.
Goals: We have created goals for ourselves in order to make our term a success. However we know that our goals cannot be met without your help and cooperation!• work hard on increasing communication with you. We plan to do that through regular newsletters and general meetings • work to raise money for our school through a variety of fundraisers and event. • create an energetic, positive atmosphere between our school families and the school

Please note the days and locations of each Home and School meeting. They may be different from previously published dates. We are alternating the days throughout the year in order to better meet the needs of our parents. The meetings will catch you up on the various events Home and School is involved in as well as give you an opportunity to communicate with us and the SKD administration. Each homeroom has a representation of mothers or fathers whose job throughout the year is to keep the communication open between the school and the home regarding classroom activities for which parents' services would be needed. This
year's Room Parent Coordinator is Connie Howe.
