Tuition Information

Our School is supported in part by the tuition paid by parents and in part by the financial commitment of Our Lady of Sorrows and St. Mary Magdalen parish communities. Tuition will be paid in monthly payments either on the 5^th or 20^th of each month beginning June 5^th or 20^th. Monthly payments are made through the FACTS tuition payment plan (see below). The FACTS form must be returned with registration.

A Tuition Payment Option is available to those who wish to pay in a single payment for the year due June 1^st or in two payments due June 1^st and December 15^th. Checks are payable to Saint Katharine Drexel School.

All fees are described in the Registration Packet. Tuition and fees are handled by the school bookkeeper, who can be reached at school, (314) 353-1451.

To be considered a Practicing member of either Our Lady of Sorrows or St. Mary Magdalen Parishes these criteria must be followed:

• Registered in either Our Lady of Sorrows or St. Mary Magdalen parishes with a completed census form on file with the parish office.
• Regular participation at Sunday Eucharist and other liturgies where we gather as a parish to worship.
• Participate in the parish sacrificial giving program (Sunday Envelopes) through regular and reasonable financial support of the parish.

Your faithful cooperation in fulfilling these requirements qualify you for in-parish tuition rates. If you are not faithful to these criteria, your tuition will be adjusted to the out-of-parish rates after quarterly review.

Parishioners Tuition

Option I - Single Payment due June 1, 2007. This option entitles the family to a $100 family discount. Late payments cause the discount to be forfeited.

Option II- Semi-Annual (two payments) plan due June 1, 2007 & December 1, 2007. This option entitles the family to a $25 per semester family discount. Late payments cause the discount to be forfeited.

Option III - FACTS monthly payment plan. Payments will be spread over the twelve month school year (from June through May). Families can choose to make payments on either the 5th or 20th of each month. Payments are electronically deducted from a checking or savings account. An annual fee of $35 per family is charged for the FACTS plan.

Families participating in FACTS and wishing to continue with the same responsible party, bank and bank account will not be required to complete a new form. Families new to FACTS will need to fill out a form and provide banking information. All FACTS should be sent to St. Katharine Drexel May by the prescribed due date.
